Man charged with using stolen credit card to make purchases at mall

Town of Poughkeepsie – Police Wednesday arrested a 52-year-old City of Poughkeepsie man on fraud charges stemming from his alleged use of a stolen credit card.

Poughkeepsie Town Police, working with City of Poughkeepsie Police, arrested Brian Charles Douglas on charges of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and forgery in the second degree.

The investigation originated from a burglary in the City of Poughkeepsie where a stolen credit card was used at a number of stores at the Poughkeepsie Galleria mall in the town.

Douglas was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
